Located north of Hayward, and about ten miles west from Pleasanton, Castro Valley is situated for commuting to Bay Area communities. Located on 1-580 and 1-238, you can say the city is conveniently placed. It is served by BART with a direct road eastward to Dublin and Pleasanton, and westward to San Francisco.
